Get started with OneDiary
Complete the five setup steps and open your diary for the first time.
The setup guide collects the minimum information OneDiary needs to show your business, offer appointments and take payments. You can leave and return without losing completed steps.
In the app Use the five-step Business setup guide after creating or joining a business account.
Sign in and choose your business account. If setup does not open automatically, follow the setup notice from the diary.
In Your business, add the trading name, legal name, telephone number and address, then tap Save and continue.
Choose how OneDiary may contact you about product news. Essential account, booking and payment messages are not controlled here.
Set up Stripe for online and in-person payments, or choose Skip for now. Deposit choices stay unavailable until Stripe is ready.
Add at least one service with a duration and price, then set the normal working hours clients can book.
Tap Continue to Diary. Preview the business before sharing a booking link.
In the portal Create your account, then work through the simple five-step setup wizard.
Open the portal at https://portal.onediary.co.uk and select Create account.
Fill in the required details, including your name and email, create a password, then choose your legal entity and business type to set up your account.
Work through the simple five-step wizard. If you need to come back later, select Finish later. A banner will be displayed the next time you sign in so you can complete setup.
In Payments and subscription, select Open Stripe setup to connect a Stripe account for client payments.
Stripe onboarding is quick and tightly integrated with OneDiary. It gives clients a way to pay deposits online and gives you in-person options including Tap to Pay on supported devices and chip and PIN payments using Stripe card readers.
Create your first service, then continue to Working hours and confirm the days and times clients can book with you.
Select Continue to diary and use Business preview to check the public details.
Before you share your page
- Keep the first service list short and use names clients already know.
- Check that each active service has staff and working hours linked to it.
- If payments were skipped, use no-deposit services until Stripe is connected.
