Create add-ons and allow multiple services
Offer optional extras and let clients build a larger appointment.
Add-ons sit inside a service, such as a finish or upgrade. Multiple services let a client combine separate services in one appointment when an eligible staff member can do all of them.
In the app Build add-ons in Add-ons, then control multiple services in Business.
Open Add-ons and tap the plus button.
Name the add-on, set minimum and maximum selections, and choose whether clients may select different options or quantities.
Add each option with its extra cost, extra time, status and tax treatment.
Link the add-on to the services where it should appear and save.
To let clients combine services, open Business, tap Edit, turn on Allow multiple services and save.
In the portal Create extras in Service add-ons and switch on multiple services from Business.
Open Add-ons and select Add add-on.
Set the selection rules, status and option list. Add cost, time and tax treatment to each option where needed.
Choose the Linked services and save the add-on.
Open Business, turn on Allow customers to choose multiple services and select Save profile.
Test a linked service on the public booking page to check wording, price and time changes.
Keep choices easy
- Use an add-on for a choice that only makes sense with a service.
- Use a separate service when it can be booked on its own.
- Multiple-service booking only offers staff who can perform every selected service.
