Request account and data deletion
Ask OneDiary to delete a client account, business account or both.
Account deletion is handled as a support request so OneDiary can confirm which account and business data should be affected.
In the app Start the request from Profile so the right account context is included.
Open Menu, Profile, then Account and data.
Tap Request account deletion.
Check the name and email shown. The request uses the business or client account context you are currently viewing.
Tap Submit deletion request, then confirm Send request.
Log out after the request is sent and wait for the support acknowledgement before removing records you still need for your own business obligations.
In the portal Send the request from the account email with enough detail to identify the scope.
Email support@onediary.co.uk from the email used for OneDiary with the subject Account deletion request.
Include your full name and account email.
State whether you want the client account, business account or both deleted.
If the business has other staff or owners, explain whether the request is for your access or the whole business.
Keep the acknowledgement for your records.
What may be retained
- OneDiary deletes or anonymises data it controls where practical after confirming the request.
- Limited records may need to remain for legal, tax, accounting, payment, fraud prevention, security or dispute reasons.
- The support team aims to complete and acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days of receipt.
